As well as meeting the Easter Bunny, kids are also invited to take part in craft workshops in Menarys on Saturday/Monday 12-3pm and in The Heatherlea Bakery where there will be be biscuit decorating from 2-4pm Saturday only.

There’s even more fun on Monday, when Main Street, My Street join up with Ards & North Down Borough Council for Easter Monday Celebrations. Cool FM will be entertaining shoppers between 2-4pm with music, fun and spot prizes on Upper Main Street. Strolling Storytellers from Open House Festival will be about the Main Street area telling stories and tales to kids. Families can step off the train at Bangor Bus and Rail Station straight into another ‘magical’ land at the Thomas the Tank Engine Experience. Fans will be delighted to find Thomas and the Fat Controller waiting to meet them at intervals throughout the day.

Finally don’t forget to pick up an entry form from one of the event ambassadors or from participating stores and take part in The Big Bangor Bunny Hunt in conjunction with the Bangor Chamber of Commerce. Find 12 bunnies hidden around the town and post your entry form in Menarys or Easons to be in with a chance of winning some fabulous prizes!

Wishing you all a Happy Easter!
