Celebrate Easter this year by baking something delicious that the whole family will enjoy. We’ve put together a few of our favourite recipes for you to try out.
This recipe is from the Queen of baking herself - Mary Berry. Split the dough in half to make traditional fruit biscuit & the other half to make iced Easter biscuits.
This is always a firm favourite. You can’t go wrong with chocolate, can you? If you don’t have any shredded wheat, corn flakes work perfectly too. This is a great way to use the abundance of Easter eggs in your house.
If you’re a Cadburys creme egg fan then this one is for you. Cookie dough stuffed with triple chocolate chunks & a whole creme egg. If a whole creme egg sounds too much for you, try using mini creme eggs - that way you can make more cookies for everyone to enjoy.
Fill your home with the sweet spiced scents of hot cross buns. This recipe is from Paul Hollywood & he suggests using apricot jam to get that perfect glaze. You can also make vegan hot cross bun - because no one should be left out at Easter.
I thought I’d finish with a showstopper cake. This gooey chocolate fudge cake will be sure to impress everyone.
If the Easter cake isn’t for you, Jane’s Patisserie has a huge range of Easter inspired recipes from a salted caramel tart to blondies.
In need of new baking utensils? Søstrene Grene’s selection of kitchen products are beautiful & start at very low prices.
